DriveShaft MZFD16 Rear Axle Bar/Outer Race Upgrade 93-95 Mazda RX-7 FD W/8.8 Conversion

This is our Rear Axle Bar Upgrade for the RX-7 with the Ford 8.8 rear conversion. The outer CV on these cars are made from a jis spec material close to our 4130 chromoly, and the OEM 03-04 Cobra inner CV's are forged cromoly. What we have done is made a set of 36 spline center bars and chromoly outer races to convert the factory RX-7 outer to 36 spline internals. The center bars are made from aerospace grade material with our special heat-treat and double temper, rolled splines for extra strength, de-stressed and ready to install. This set includes bars, outer races, boots, clamps and grease.

Please Note: This bar kit will use OEM 03-04 Cobra inner cv and tripod and will not work with the earlier Cobra inners.

We also offer our own chromoly 108mm ball & cage inner cv and bolt-on diff stub for the Mustang 8.8 rear.
